By establishing THE FOUNDATION as referred to in our constitution, do we believe that we can make a difference by providing persons living with disabilities an opportunity to acquire skills that can be used in any business or administrative environment. We believe we can do that by establishing facilities where persons living with disabilities can be trained basic skills such as Life Skills, Office Skills, Small Business Administration, Marketing and Computer Literacy to name a few. We also believe through an aggressive recruitment programme get some, if not all of these candidates employed where the minimum of movement is required and they can function comfortably, such as a Call Centre for example.
Our Mission The main aim of the foundation is to empower and assist people living with disabilities, between the ages of 18 and 50 by sharing information and providing training in:
This will enable people to become more self-sufficient, independent entrepreneurs whom can compete in an open and informal labour society. Our programmes will also give the person living with a disability an opportunity to gain valuable business knowledge and become an efficient and successful employee of any company, corporation or organization should he or she feel the need to work for an employer. We don't claim to have the holy grail. What we can offer is sound advice and business mentorship to capable people living with disabilities.
